Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Software Test Analyst to join the Billing and Funding – Maverick team in India. You will develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and scripts for both manual and automated testing, identify defects, and ensure automation components are kept up to date.

Strong communication and analytical skills are essential. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of software testing experience, proficiency with Selenium, SQL, and programming in Java/Python.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing.
• Experience with testing frameworks– Selenium.
• Proficiency in SQL queries for data validation and verification.
• Programming languages: Java and Python; basic knowledge of Jenkins, AWS and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases and scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Identify, document and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Ensure new scripts are integrated into the test automation pack and maintained.
• Investigate and report defects, re-test after fixes and document results.
• Deliver regular progress/status updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute as an individual contributor.

What You’ll Own

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts for both manual and automated testing


• Identify, document and track defects and issues, collaborating with developers to resolve them


• Ensuring new scripts are updated/integrated in the test automation pack


• Investigation and reporting of defects/bugs discovered, following re-test after fix


• Delivering regular progress/status reports as required


• Should be an individual contributor with minimum supervision. Also, should be able to mentor junior team member

What You’ll Bring

• 4 + years of experience in software testing with focus on both manual and automated testing.


• Experience with testing frameworks– Selenium


• Manual Testing, Automation Tools, SQL queries,


• Programming Language: Java, Python, Jenkins, AWS, Kafka basic knowledge


• Good verbal and written communication to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels


• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills
