Job Purpose

To create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using automation tools and frameworks

Job Description

• Identifying and selecting automation test cases
• Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the automated test cases
• Debug to troubleshoot and fix the issues that arise during the automation process
• Participate in the sprint planning/grooming sessions to understand the requirements and achieve good automation test coverage
• Managing the changes and executing automation tests to ensure quality of the application under test
• Collaborate with the team and work towards achieving the release goals
• Learn new tools, frameworks, languages, methodologies and adopt best practices
• Experience in Playwright tool

Duties and Responsibilities: Following should be the responsibilities of a Senior Automation Tester:

• Work with the QA/BA team to convert the business requirements to automation cases
• Applying various designs and documenting the automation test strategy
• Apply good coding practices, such as modularity, readability, documentation, and version control
• Configuring Automation Test Environment and maintain the same
• Perform automated suite execution as planned and as and when needed
• Defect reporting and tracking to closure
• Maintain the automation suite to make it consistent and reliable
• Train and mentor the testing team members in the project
• Identify risks and recommend mitigations in cases as needed
