We are looking for a skilled and proactive Test Automation Lead to drive the design, development, and implementation of a robust test automation framework with Playwright as the primary automation tool. This role is ideal for someone passionate about quality engineering, modern automation architecture, and continuous integration, while also leading and mentoring a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect a scalable, reliable, and maintainable test automation framework using Playwright.
• Lead the implementation of end-to-end automated test suites for web applications across browsers and API platforms.
• Drive automation strategy and ensure alignment with overall testing and delivery goals.
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to define test strategies, coverage, and quality goals.
• Maintain and enhance the automation framework to support evolving application features and technologies.
• Ensure high performance, stability, reusability, and low maintenance of automation suites.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to automation engineers.
• Lead proof of concepts (POCs) and evaluate new tools, libraries, and approaches.
• Document framework architecture, usage guidelines, and automation best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Good working knowledge of Selenium and legacy Selenium-based frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript (Python knowledge is a plus).
