Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on automation testing experience.
• Proficient in JavaScript for writing test automation scripts.
• Experience with Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, and Detox for robust testing.
• Familiarity with Postman for API testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing processes, hands-on experience in automation frameworks, and a passion for ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive test suites using a variety of testing tools, including Cucumber for behavior-driven development and Detox for testing React Native applications, to validate software functionality and user experience.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain automation frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies.
• Perform API testing, UI testing, and integration testing using automation tools.
• Regularly update and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Continuously enhance testing methodologies and frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in software testing and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in automation testing.
• Proficient in JavaScript, with a strong understanding of its ecosystems and frameworks, particularly for writing test automation scripts.
• Experience using testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, and Detox to ensure the robustness and reliability of software solutions.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
