Job summary

Softura, Inc. is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium across web applications. You will work closely with functional teams to identify UI and functional changes, create reusable tests, and contribute to daily/weekly quality reporting.

Strong knowledge of Agile processes, SQL basics, and API testing tools is required. As part of a Microsoft-certified IT services leader, you will help ensure high-quality software

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and implement test scripts using Selenium across web applications.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks (BDD and Hybrid).
• Experience creating reusable automated tests and maintaining automation suites.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute automation test scripts and analyze results with daily/weekly reporting.
• Log defects identified by automation runs and track closure to resolution.
• Collaborate with functional teams to identify UI/functional changes and update scripts for releases.
• Perform periodic maintenance of automation tests and test suites.
• Design, review and maintain test cases, ensuring coverage of critical flows.

Required Skills:

• Test script development using Selenium (C#/Java/Python)
• Should have knowledge in Automation frameworks (BDD and Hybrid)
• Experience in creating re-usable automated tests
• Automation test script maintenance
• Work closely with functional team, identify functional/UI changes and update scripts accordingly (release wise).
• Perform periodical maintenance
• Automation test execution and report analysis (Daily/Weekly/Bi-weekly/Need basis)
• Defect logging for issues identified by automation test script execution and track the same for closure
• Should have good knowledge in Agile development methodology
• Should have good knowledge designing test cases, defect logging, executing test cases.
• Should have knowledge in SQL basic queries.
• Should have knowledge in API Testing tools
