Job summary

indiumsoft in Chennai is seeking an Automation Test Engineer / Lead to design, develop, and maintain automation testing frameworks using JavaScript-based technologies for our Insurance domain.

You will perform automated and manual testing, leverage AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and OpenAI to boost efficiency, and collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality releases while guiding testing activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in JavaScript-based test automation.
• Expertise in automation framework design and maintenance.
• Experience with manual and automation testing.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI).

• Perform automation and manual testing for web applications and insurance platforms
• Leverage AI-assisted testing tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and OpenAI to improve testing efficiency

Required Skills

• Strong experience in JavaScript-based test automation
• Hands-on expertise in automation framework design and maintenance
• Experience with manual and automation testing
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI, etc.)
• Good understanding of Agile testing methodologies and SDLC
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Insurance domain, preferably Property & Casualty (P&C)
• Ability to work independently and lead testing activities
