Ascendion is seeking an AI Test Engineer to strengthen our testing of AI evaluation areas and Android applications. You will design test strategies, execute tests across devices, and ensure reliability of AI features.

You will build automation using Python, PyWinAuto, Selenium and Playwright, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with development teams to improve quality and safety of AI-driven products.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating AI performance and Android app testing.
• Knowledge of memory, performance, and battery testing on Android.
• Understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Familiarity with AI safety and security testing concepts.
• Ability to translate requirements into test strategies and test plans.
• Hands-on testing with development teams and cross‑functional partners.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate AI performance in areas such as relevance, task completion, correctness, hallucination detection, and tool correctness.
• Conduct testing on Android platform and applications using relevant tools.
• Test application memory, performance, and battery usage across Android environments.
• Follow the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) to ensure thorough testing.
• Implement AI safety and security testing practices.
• Collaborate closely with development teams and leads.
• Review Module-specific HLD/PRD documents and create test strategies, plans, and detailed test cases.
• Develop automation tests using tools like Python, PyWinAuto, Selenium, and Playwright.
• Foster effective cross-team collaboration.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
