Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a senior test automation architect with 10-12 years of experience to own and define end-to-end automation across web and desktop apps using Playwright and TypeScript. You will design scalable, reusable frameworks and set automation standards, governance, and best practices across teams.

The role involves evaluating tools, AI-assisted approaches, and enabling parallel test execution, with CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of experience in Test Automation.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on with Microsoft Playwright using TypeScript.
• Experience owning end-to-end automation architecture for web and desktop apps.
• Ability to design scalable, reusable automation frameworks with Playwright/TS.
• Define automation standards, governance, and best practices.
• Evaluate tools and AI-assisted automation approaches for initiatives.
• Experience enabling parallel and distributed test execution.
• CI/CD integration with Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
