Job summary

303A Micron Semiconductor Technology India is seeking an experienced automation leader to manage and advance plant automation, AGV/AMR systems and manufacturing technologies.

You will lead cross-functional teams, guide AI-enabled automation initiatives, and ensure high availability with minimum downtime across the facility.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10-15 years of proven experience in Engineering Projects, Plant automation, Maintenance preferably in the electronics component or automotive industry.
• Experience in deploying and maintaining AGV/AMR systems.
• Strong people management abilities, with a history of guiding and nurturing high-performing teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to successfully implement automation solutions.
• Strong communication and cooperation skills, with a proactive approach to project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and install and ongoing support of automatic material handling systems, ASRS, Robots, COBOTS, and manufacturing automations.
• Leverage Artificial Intelligence incorporated for required automation.
• Manage and coordinate the development and deployment of AGV/AMR systems to streamline plant logistics.
• Ensure effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine and implement world-class automation solutions.
• Ensure all automation processes comply strictly with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the automation team, encouraging a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Develop systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products.
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
• Oversee the planning, development, implementation and maintenance and troubleshooting equipment to ensure minimal downtime and efficient performance.
