Job summary

PradeepIT Consulting Services Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru seeks an Automation Selenium Tester to drive implementation and support of a Java-based Selenium framework and API automation. You will analyze requirements, perform unit, SIT, regression, and UAT testing, and manage the defect lifecycle with strong Java expertise.

The role requires hands-on automation of APIs, RESTful testing, and proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/Azure DevOps, Docker and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with web application testing using Selenium with Java.
• Strong knowledge of Java to develop Selenium framework and API automation.
• Experience in RESTful web services testing and API automation.
• Familiar with CI/CD: Azure DevOps or Jenkins, Docker, and related tooling.
• Hands-on automation of APIs and testing of microservices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customise Selenium framework components using Java.
• Perform unit, integration (ST/SIT), regression, and UAT testing; manage defect cycle.
• Utilise API automation and RESTful services testing; ensure test coverage.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps/Jenkins; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate across teams; document and communicate test results clearly.

About the job Automation Selenium Tester

Expert Selenium Framework Developer for implementation of new projects and support of UI /API framework using Java

Job Role/ future duties and responsibilities

• The role involves development/customisation of the Selenium framework components using Java
• Requirement analysis, Unit Testing, ST, SIT, Regression Testing, UAT and implementing Defect cycle will be the key activities.
• A very strong technical knowledge of Java to develop Selenium framework and & good knowledge of API Automation is a must for this role.
• Required qualifications to be successful in this role
  3-5 Experience with web application testing with manual and automation using Selenium with Java.
• Expertise in software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminology, testing processes and procedures.
  Demonstratable and working knowledge of RESTful web services testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation of APIs
  Working knowledge of testing integrations, defect management and test management using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to influence.
• Jenkins, CICD pipeline, docker, Ansible, bitbucket, sonarcube, Troubleshooting anddebugging, ELK(Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana) stacks and basic knowledge onkubernetes
• Experience in Python, Java programming languages, shell scripting, groovyscripting
• Basic Experience in MongoDB, Flask API development, MySQL, Postgres SQL
