JAMS Workload Automation
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain enterprise workload automation solutions using JAMS Scheduler.
- Create and manage jobs, sequences, dependencies, triggers, schedules, variables, resources, alerts, and notifications.
- Automate batch-processing workflows across Windows, Linux/Unix, databases, applications, and enterprise platforms.
- Monitor scheduled workloads and troubleshoot failed, delayed, or dependent jobs.
- Configure and maintain JAMS agents, credentials, security, queues, and execution environments.
- Perform JAMS platform administration, upgrades, patching, maintenance, and performance optimization.
- Develop reusable automation frameworks and standards to reduce manual operational activities.
- Implement appropriate logging, monitoring, alerting, retry, and recovery mechanisms for automated processes.
Global scape / Managed File Transfer
- Administer, configure, and support Global scape EFT (Enhanced File Transfer) environments.
- Develop and maintain secure file-transfer workflows using SFTP, FTPS, FTP, HTTPS, and related protocols.
- Configure Global scape event rules, scheduled transfers, automated workflows, notifications, and partner integrations.
- Manage users, service accounts, authentication, permissions, virtual folders, certificates, SSH keys, and security policies.
- Support onboarding and offboarding of internal applications, customers, vendors, and external trading partners.
- Troubleshoot file-transfer failures, connectivity problems, authentication issues, permissions, certificates, SSH keys, and network-related issues.
- Monitor file-transfer activity and maintain appropriate logging, auditing, reporting, and alerting.
- Ensure MFT configurations comply with enterprise security and data-protection requirements.
PGP Encryption & Security
- Implement and support PGP encryption and decryption for secure file-transfer workflows.
- Configure automated PGP encrypt/decrypt processes within Global scape, JAMS, scripts, and application workflows.
- Manage PGP public and private keys, including key generation, import/export, distribution, backup, rotation, expiration, and revocation.
- Configure and troubleshoot PGP signing and signature verification processes where required.
- Troubleshoot encryption/decryption failures, incorrect keys, expired keys, passphrase issues, and partner interoperability problems.
- Coordinate PGP public-key exchanges with customers, vendors, and external trading partners.
- Apply security best practices for protecting private keys, passphrases, service accounts, and sensitive file-transfer data.
- Maintain documentation and audit records for PGP key lifecycle and secure file-transfer configurations.
- Work with cybersecurity teams to ensure encryption solutions meet organizational security and compliance standards.
Automation & Scripting
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, shell scripting, Python, or similar technologies.
- Integrate JAMS and Global scape with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and infrastructure services.
- Automate file processing, validation, encryption/decryption, movement, archival, and notification processes.
- Implement error handling, logging, retries, notifications, and recovery procedures.
- Identify manual operational processes and develop automation solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain scripts and automation configurations using appropriate source-control and change-management processes.
Production Support & Operations
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for JAMS, Global scape, PGP, and related automation services.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root-cause analysis for recurring incidents.
- Participate in incident, problem, change, and release-management processes.
- Coordinate platform upgrades, migrations, patches, maintenance, and infrastructure changes.
- Support high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity, failover, and recovery testing.
- Participate in an on-call support rotation as required for business-critical automation and file-transfer services.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, support documentation, and runbooks.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT engineering experience, preferably in automation, managed file transfer, middleware, infrastructure, DevOps, or production support.
- Strong hands-on experience with JAMS Scheduler / JAMS Workload Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Global scape EFT administration and support.
- Strong knowledge of PGP encryption/decryption and PGP key management.
- Experience implementing automated secure file-transfer and encryption workflows.
- Strong understanding of SFTP, FTPS, FTP, HTTPS, SSH, and related file-transfer technologies.
- Experience with PowerShell and/or other scripting languages.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments.
- Understanding of encryption, PGP/GPG, SSL/TLS, PKI, digital certificates, SSH keys, and secure authentication.
- Experience troubleshooting DNS, firewall, ports, network connectivity, authentication, permissions, certificates, and encryption issues.
- Experience supporting high-availability, business-critical production environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience upgrading or migrating JAMS and Global scape EFT platforms.
- Experience with GnuPG (GPG) or other OpenPGP-compatible encryption technologies.
- Experience with SQL Server and SQL queries for troubleshooting and reporting.
- Experience integrating enterprise automation solutions with REST APIs and web services.
- Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, service accounts, and enterprise identity-management solutions.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Git or other source-control technologies.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise change-management practices.
- Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments.
