Job summary

PwC is seeking a QA Automation professional in Hyderabad to design and implement quality engineering standards, conduct functional and API testing, and collaborate with clients to ensure reliable software delivery. The role focuses on automation using Playwright, API testing, and CI/CD integration, with an emphasis on code quality and test data management.

The candidate will work across tools and platforms, including Selenium-based testing, and contribute to release management and post-go-live

Qualifications

• Experience with automation testing using Playwright and API testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and test data management.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Playwright with MCP; Tosca Java, Python, JavaScript / TypeScript for Playwright Karate and/or REST Assured (any 1) Page Object Model, reusable components, fixtures, utilities, test-data management, configuration management REST APIs, HTTP methods, headers, authentication, JSON/XML, request/response validation, status codes Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or equivalent (any 1 integration tool) Git / GitHub / Bitbucket (any 1) SQL Test failures, logs, traces, screenshots, API responses Jira, Azure DevOps, Xray, Zephyr (any 1) AWS, Azure or GCP (any 1) Experience using GenAI/coding assistants for test generation, code development, test-data creation, debugging and productivity improvement
