Job summary

Solvex Solutions is seeking an experienced UFT Automation Tester to design, develop, execute and maintain automation scripts using UFT/QTP, while performing manual testing to ensure quality.

The role involves collaborating with QA, business and development teams, executing tests, reporting results and driving defect resolution throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Hands-on UFT/QTP automation testing required.
• Knowledge of manual, functional and regression testing.
• Experience in test design, execution and defect management.
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC basics.

We are looking for an experienced UFT Automation Tester with hands‑on expertise in test automation using Unified Functional Testing (UFT/QTP), along with manual testing experience. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automation scripts to ensure application quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using UFT/QTP.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Conduct manual testing and prepare test cases and test scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
• Analyse test results and prepare test execution reports.
• Collaborate with QA, business, and development teams to ensure quality deliverables.

Required Skills

• Hands‑on experience in UFT/QTP automation testing is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing, functional testing, and regression testing.
