Job summary

Bizom is a leading retail intelligence platform serving over 750+ brands, driving efficiency across distribution and field teams. We seek a Senior QA Automation Engineer to define and own the quality strategy, architect scalable automation frameworks, and ensure release confidence for millions of users.

You will lead automation initiatives, mentor engineers, and collaborate with development, product, and customer success to close coverage gaps and push testing left.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on QA automation for large-scale, production-grade applications.
• Deep expertise with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Appium, and RestAssured.
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Solid understanding of production deployment workflows, release strategies (blue-green, canary, rolling).
• Hands-on experience with test reporting and observability tools (Allure, ExtentReports, Grafana dashboards).
• Strong Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead automation initiatives from planning to execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end test automation across web, mobile (Android), and APIs.

The role

Quality at scale is an engineering discipline, not an afterthought.

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you won't just write tests, you'll architect the quality strategy that underpins how Bizom ships with confidence. You'll own the automation pipeline end to end, lead a culture of quality-first thinking, and be the last line of defence before a release reaches millions of users. This role has a direct and measurable impact on platform stability, developer velocity, and customer trust.

What You'll Do:

• Lead automation strategy : Own end-to-end test automation across web, mobile (Android), and APIs. Define coverage standards, quality gates, and release sign-offs across the SDLC.
• Architect frameworks : Build scalable, modular frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Appium, RestAssured) with reusable libraries, parallel execution, and multi-environment support.
• Own CI/CD pipelines : Set up, optimize, and maintain test pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) with quality gates that block regressions from reaching production.
• Drive observability : Implement dashboards for execution trends and flaky test detection. Set up alerting for post-deployment validation and production regression monitoring.
• Review & mentor : Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and champion test-first thinking across sprints and releases.
• Collaborate & close gaps : Partner with dev, product, and customer success to refine scenarios, address coverage gaps and shift testing left.

What You Bring to the Table

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation for large-scale, production-grade applications.
• Deep expertise with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Appium, and RestAssured or Postman.
• Proven experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent) - not just integrating tests into existing ones.
• Solid understanding of production deployment workflows, release strategies (blue-green, canary, rolling), and their implications for testing.
• Hands-on experience with test reporting and observability tools (Allure, ExtentReports, Grafana dashboards, or similar).
• Strong grasp of Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead automation initiatives - from planning to execution to iteration.
• Critical thinker who can break systems, root-cause failures, and drive fixes with urgency and ownership.

Bonus If You Have

• Experience testing highly configurable enterprise platforms or multi-tenant SaaS products.
• Built automation within a microservices / monolithic architecture
• Hands-on performance and load testing experience (JMeter, k6, Gatling, or similar).
• Contributed to open-source testing tools or published frameworks/utilities.
• Experience with chaos engineering or fault injection testing.
