Job summary

QNu Labs in Bengaluru is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to help test India's first quantum-powered cybersecurity products. You will work with software, hardware, and quantum physics teams to ensure quality from unit to system levels.

Responsibilities include building and executing test strategies, designing automation frameworks with Selenium (Python/Java), API testing with Postman and RestAssured, and ensuring performance, security, and reliability across environments.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• Strong networking fundamentals and testing experience with routers, switches, and protocols.
• Proficiency in Selenium automation using Python or Java.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, Pytest) and backend automation scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Exposure to Linux-based systems, network sniffers (Wireshark, tcpdump), and shell scripting.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Conduct performance/load testing across various environments and capture non-functional issues.
• Review code from a QA/testability perspective and participate in sprint planning and design discussions.
• Ensure the product meets functional, security, and performance requirements aligned with customer expectations.

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience testing hardware security modules, quantum/crypto products, or secure communication protocols.
• Knowledge of cryptography, TLS/SSL, VPNs, or quantum-safe key exchanges
• Interest or exposure to quantum technologies and willingness to adapt test methodologies accordingly.
