We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer – Control/MES to join our growing team and play a critical role in transforming customer requirements into scalable, automated manufacturing solutions. In this role, you will serve as the Automation Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the core bid team, leading controls and MES integration activities while supporting customer RFQs, industrialization, and manufacturing transformation initiatives.
The Automation - Control/MES is the Automation subject-matter owner within the EMS core bid team. Owns controls and MES integration: PLC/robot interfaces to IEC **-3, OPC-UA and ISA-95 integration, traceability/genealogy, SPC/OEE data model, and IT/OT network, cybersecurity and infrastructure requirements. The role converts customer inputs into a compliant, costed and executable solution, with explicit assumptions, risks, dependencies and evidence for management approval. The position works across customer, engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, finance and supplier teams to ensure proposal commitments are feasible and ready for handover into execution.
8-12 years / Experience Agnostic
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, ECE, Mechatronics, Industrial, Production or another discipline relevant to the role. Postgraduate specialization is preferred.
