Job summary

Lineforce Pty Ltd in Mumbai seeks a skilled AutoCAD drafter to translate engineering concepts into precise 2D drawings. The role involves producing plans, elevations and details, ensuring accuracy, and preparing packages for client submission.

You will work closely with engineers and project teams, manage revisions, and develop drafting templates and CAD libraries to support standardization and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong practical AutoCAD experience.
• Ability to produce accurate, professional drawings from concepts and mark-ups.
• Comfortable working independently with engineers and project personnel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise 2D engineering and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Convert sketches, concepts and red-line mark-ups into professional CAD drawings.
• Produce plans, elevations, sections, details and general arrangement drawings.
• Modify existing drawings based on engineering and client comments.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, dimensions, scales, layers, line weights and annotations.
• Prepare professional drawing packages for internal review and client submission.
• Manage drawing revisions and maintain document control.
• Work in accordance with Lineforce TL and client drafting standards and templates.
• Review drawings for accuracy and consistency prior to issue.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to resolve drafting queries.
• Work with DWG, PDF and other engineering documentation.
• Assist in developing standard drawing templates, title blocks, CAD libraries and drafting systems.
