Job summary

Vedant Fire Design Consultancy is seeking an AutoCAD Draftsman (Fire Fighting) for a remote role with Vadodara availability. You will prepare detailed fire protection drawings for hydrants, sprinklers, pumps, and water spray systems in line with codes and project specs.

Responsibilities include updating shop drawings, coordinating with architectural and structural drawings, and supporting hydraulic calculations and design documentation while keeping files organized and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and general Drawing for engineering and fire protection systems.
• Candidates should possess experience in preparing Shop Drawings for fire fighting installations and related building services.
• Candidates should possess the ability to interpret and work with Architectural Drawings and coordinate them with fire protection layouts.
• Candidates should possess a good understanding of Architecture principles relevant to building services and life safety design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (and similar CAD tools) for 2D drafting; 3D modeling exposure is an advantage.
• Knowledge of fire fighting system components, relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, local regulations), and basic hydraulic concepts.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and good documentation and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, consultants, and site teams.
• Prior experience in fire protection or building services drafting is preferred.

Role Description This AutoCAD Draftsman (Fire Fighting) role is an Remote position Condidate Must be available in Vadodara. The AutoCAD Draftsman will prepare detailed fire fighting system drawings, including layouts for hydrant, sprinkler, pump, and water spray systems in accordance with relevant codes and project specifications. Responsibilities include developing and updating shop drawings, coordinating with architectural and structural drawings, and ensuring accurate representation of fire protection components and pipe routing. The role involves collaborating with engineers and project teams to incorporate design changes, resolve drawing-related issues, and support hydraulic calculations and design documentation.
