Job summary

Designcafe is hiring for an AutoCAD & CNC Programmer at our Bangalore factory location. We seek an experienced candidate to prepare production drawings and generate CNC programs for modular furniture manufacturing.

You will ensure accurate drawings, optimized nesting, and error-free CNC machining while supporting production schedules and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, CAD/CAM or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and CNC programming.
• Experience in modular furniture or woodworking industry will be preferred.
• Must read and interpret technical drawings and translate into production drawings.
• Strong ability to optimize nesting and ensure quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed production drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create and optimize CNC programs for routers and other CNC machines.
• Generate nesting files to maximize material utilization and minimize wastage.
• Verify drawings, dimensions, and specifications before releasing to production.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot CNC programming and machining-related problems.
• Maintain programming standards and drawing revisions.
• Support production in achieving daily targets and reducing material wastage.
