Australian Accountant role with responsibilities across accounting, bookkeeping, and compliance for Australian clients, with focus on statutory reporting and client service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Handle accounting, bookkeeping, and compliance tasks for Australian clients.
- Prepare and review financial statements, BAS, GST, payroll, and tax returns in accordance with Australian standards.
- Work on Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks for day-to-day accounting and reporting.
- Perform reconciliations, month-end closing, and maintain accurate records.
- Liaise with Australian clients and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Provide support in audits, financial analysis, and advisory as required.
- Ensure compliance with Australian accounting regulations and firm policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: CA / CA Inter / CMA Inter / CMA.
- Experience: 2–8 years of relevant experience in Australian accounting.
- Hands-on expertise in Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of handling client queries independently.
