Job summary

An accounting firm is seeking an Australian Accountant responsible for handling accounting, bookkeeping, and compliance tasks for Australian clients. The ideal candidate should have 2–8 years of experience in Australian accounting, with strong knowledge of relevant statutes and proficiency in Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks. The role is onsite with a day shift from 07:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• 2–8 years of relevant experience in Australian accounting.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software.
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of handling client queries independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounting and compliance tasks for Australian clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting regulations.
• Perform reconciliations, month-end closing, and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with Australian clients and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Provide support in audits, financial analysis, and advisory as required.
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting regulations and firm policies.
