Job description

Experience: 1-5 years

Description:

The candidate should have good experience in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining end-user systems. This position requires providing L1 support for all desktop/laptop-related issues individually. The candidate must have good communication skills and should be a team player.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • 1+ year of experience with Windows desktop/laptop support.
  • Installing and configuring Windows 11 as clients.
  • Installed, configured, and maintained the regular updates of Windows and other installed third-party applications.
  • Installation and troubleshooting of Local and Network printers.
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems encountered with Laptop hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Good knowledge of configuring and fixing issues related to MS Office and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of installing and configuring Windows features and other software like MS SQL, MS Project, Adobe Reader, Visual Studio Etc.
  • Basic Knowledge of Windows Active Directory environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Azure AD and O365 administration.
  • Manages inventory of personal computing devices and Software in the company asset inventory.
  • Basic Knowledge of LAN, WAN, Routers, Network Switches, and cabling (including understanding of Ethernet, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP routing)
  • Require to work with multiple vendors to resolve any hardware-related issues.
  • Ability to provide technical support through phone and web-based remote tools.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience as a Desktop support engineeror similar role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Solutions Associate/Solutions Expert Certification in Microsoft is a plus.
  • Preferably worked in an enterprise IT environment.
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting – Nice to have skill.
