Job Role & Responsibilities

As a Research Associate - Formulation Development, you will play a key role in the formulation, scale-up, and tech transfer of biological products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in preclinical and clinical development programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute preclinical formulation development for monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and ADCs during early-stage programs.
• Conduct pre-formulation and stability studies to ensure robustness of formulations.
• Develop and optimize parenteral delivery systems, including nano-particulate and lipid-based systems.
• Lead scale-up and technology transfer activities to GMP manufacturing sites.
• Perform physicochemical and solid-state characterization of mAbs and ADCs.
• Support development of enabling formulations for NCEs to enhance bioavailability.
• Prepare and review technical documentation including SOPs, protocols, and reports.
• Coordinate GMP batch execution and documentation for clinical trial materials.

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: M.Pharm, M.Sc (Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or related discipline)
• Experience: 4-8 years of relevant experience in biologics formulation development
• Technical Expertise:
  • Hands-on experience in mAb, ADC, and NBE formulations.
  • Exposure to scale-up, tech transfer, and GMP operations.
  • Knowledge of delivery systems like lipid-based carriers, nanoparticles, and polymeric systems.
  • Understanding of cGMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines.
