Job summary

Utkarsh Small Finance Bank is seeking an Audit professional to conduct audits of Wholesale Lending and Corporate & Institutional Credit portfolios. You will review credit appraisal, sanction terms, documentation, disbursement and post-disbursement monitoring to ensure policy adherence.

The role emphasizes identifying policy deviations and credit risks, supporting RBIA and regulatory/internal audit requirements, and coordinating with Credit, Risk and Operations teams to close findings.

Qualifications

• Experience in Wholesale/Corporate Credit Audit, Credit Underwriting, Credit Risk or Internal Audit in Banks/NBFCs.
• Strong analytical, financial statement analysis and report-writing skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and internal controls is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of Wholesale Lending (WSL) / Corporate & Institutional Credit portfolios.
• Review credit appraisal, sanction terms, documentation, disbursement and post-disbursement monitoring.
• Verify compliance with Credit Policy, Delegation of Authority, internal SOPs and applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Review financial analysis, account conduct, end-use of funds, security creation, covenants and credit monitoring.
• Identify policy deviations, documentation gaps, credit risks and control weaknesses and highlight key audit observations.
• Review EWS, SMA/NPA classification, stressed accounts and portfolio monitoring controls.
• Prepare audit observations/reports and coordinate with Credit, Business, Risk and Operations teams for closure of findings.
• Support Risk-Based Internal Audit (RBIA), thematic reviews and regulatory/internal audit requirements.
