Job summary

Citrin Cooperman India LLP is seeking a detail-oriented Audit Senior to join our US Commercial Real Estate audits team in Hyderabad. You will work closely with US-based engagement teams to perform audits, reviews, and compilations under US GAAP/US GAAS, while mentoring junior staff.

Effective communication with US offices and strong organizational skills are essential to manage planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up within tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• CPA (or in process) or CA with 3-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm or US auditing CPA firm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including responsiveness to US Offices.
• Strong organizational skills & multi-tasking abilities are required.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Knowledge of Caseware, caseview or IDEA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with audits, reviews and compilations for clients in various industries under US GAAP and US GAAS in Hyderabad/Ahmedabad office.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls.
• Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap- up.
• Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines.
• Mentor, train and supervise lighter level staff.
• Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel.
• Communicate with Supervisor/ Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise
