Job summary

Lets Hear - Hearing Aid Clinic in Bengaluru seeks an Audiologist to perform diagnostic hearing assessments including pure tone and speech audiometry, tympanometry, and related tests with interpretation guiding treatment.

You will counsel patients and families, recommend and fit hearing aids, perform real-ear measurements, maintain records, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure high-quality care and ongoing patient education.

Qualifications

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Audiologist role based in Bengaluru. The Audiologist will perform diagnostic hearing assessments, including pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, and related tests, and interpret results to formulate treatment recommendations. Responsibilities include counseling patients and families, recommending appropriate hearing aids or assistive listening devices, performing fittings and real-ear measurements, and providing follow-up care and adjustments. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, collaborating with other hearing care professionals, and contributing to patient education initiatives. The Audiologist is also expected to stay updated on advancements in audiology and hearing aid technology to continuously improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Formal education in Audiology (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Audiology or equivalent), with valid professional certification or license as required by local regulations.
• Hands-on experience in diagnostic audiology, including hearing assessments, interpretation of test results, and development of appropriate management plans.
• Skills in hearing aid selection, fitting, programming, verification, and troubleshooting, with familiarity using modern hearing aid software and equipment.
• Strong patient communication and counseling abilities, including explaining test outcomes, managing expectations, and providing clear guidance on hearing care.
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation skills for maintaining clinical records and preparing reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team, manage a daily patient schedule, and uphold ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory care practices.
• Comfort working on-site in a busy clinical environment in Bengaluru, with flexibility to support patient needs and clinic operations.
• Prior experience in a hearing aid clinic or similar setting and familiarity with pediatric or geriatric populations
