SNC-Lavalin has exciting full time career opportunities for experienced Telecom Engineers. Based out of our Vancouver office, our Telecom Engineers are primarily responsible for the delivery of telecommunication engineering design with focus in the areas of microwave radio link design, high speed fiber optics link design as well as IP/MPLS based local and wide area networks for our high voltage transmission line and substation projects.
The Telecom Engineer is required to work within a multi-discipline team to design efficient and reliable telecommunication facilities. The engineer will coordinate his/her design activities to maintain project schedules and ensure successful project completion. The engineer will also assist the Estimating Team in preparation of estimates and project proposals.
This position is accountable to provide all design activities in accordance with all applicable codes and standards, including all of SNC-Lavalin’s policies and procedures, such as Safety, Environmental, Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
