We are seeking a full-time Astronomy & Astrophysics Educator for an on-site role based in Bargarh. Responsibilities include developing and delivering astronomy and astrophysics lessons customized to diverse audiences, creating engaging lesson plans, and conducting educational workshops or demonstrations. The educator will also be responsible for operating portable planetariums and providing training to students and teachers. Additionally, the educator will assist with the development of interactive and hands-on activities to foster experiential learning.
Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum development. Teaching and Education experience, especially in science-related subjects. Strong Communication and Training abilities to engage diverse audiences effectively. A passion for astronomy and a commitment to promoting science education. Ability to operate educational tools such as planetariums and DIY kits (training provided). Bachelor's degree in Astronomy, Astrophysics, Education, or a related field. Prior experience in conducting science outreach programs or workshops is highly desirable. Strong organizational and time-management skills for managing sessions and schedules effectively.
