Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Commerce.
• CA/ACCA/CPA qualified + 4–5 years relevant experience; or non-qualified with 6+ years relevant experience.
• GAAP/GAAS knowledge and professional ethics-compliant practices.

Responsibilities

There’s no one like you and that’s why there’s nowhere like RSM.**Responsibilities*** Provide timely, high quality client service as part of the client engagement teams serving large and small companies in a variety of industries.* Develop strong working relationships while working closely with teams to understand and solve clients' complex businesses and challenges.* Understanding clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues* Developing and demonstrating an understanding of the RSM US audit approach, methodology and tools* Performing audit procedures and tests in accordance with the RSM audit methodology based overall audit plan, ensuring proper documentation of work performed.* Identifying areas of risk and accounting and auditing issues; discuss with engagement teams to solve issues that arise.* Researching technical accounting issues* Developing industry expertise* Preparing audit reports, and management letters* Exercising professional skepticism, judgment and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagements* Ensuring that documentation is compliant with quality standards of the firm* Working collaboratively as a part of the team and communicate effectively with RSM audit professionals* Provide supervision and development training for associates* Taking ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence through prompt responses to internal and external clients* Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverables* Understanding RSM US and RSM Delivery Center's line of business service capabilities and work as a team in providing an integrated service delivery* Ensuring professional development through ongoing education* Participate in a range of projects and open to collaborate and work with multiple teams* Demonstrating critical thinking, problem solving, initiative and timely completion of work.* Provide oversight to senior associates and associates, including training and development activities.**Required Qualifications*** Bachelors in Commerce* Non-qualified: 6+ years of relevant experience* CA qualified + 4 years relevant experience, ACCA/CPA qualified + 5 years relevant experience* Strong technical skills in accounting including GAAP and GAAS* Strong multi-tasking and project management skills* Excellent verbal and written communication (English) as the position requires frequent communications with RSM International clients and the United States based engagement teams**Preferred Qualifications*** Strong Data Analytical skills including advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas), Word and PowerPoint* Experience in “**Private Equity Funds”** industryAt RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.
