Job summary

RSM US LLP in India seeks an entry-level audit professional to support the audit team in applying RSM US audit methodologies and tools. You will assist in preparing audit reports and management letters while ensuring documentation meets quality standards.

The role requires strong data analytics, advanced Excel skills, and excellent English communication for frequent interactions with RSM International clients. CA/ACCA/CPA qualifications may be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Commerce required.
• Non-qualified: 1 year of relevant experience.
• CA qualified, ACCA/CPA qualified + 0-1 years relevant experience.
• Strong data analytics including advanced Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables, basic formulas), Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication (English) as the position requires frequent communications with RSM International clients.

• Identifying accounting and auditing issues; discussing with audit in-charge to solve issues that arise.
• Assisting engagement team in preparation of audit reports, and management letters.
• Exercising professional skepticism, judgment and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagements.
• Ensuring documentation is compliant with quality standards of the firm.
• Working collaboratively with the team and communicating effectively with RSM audit professionals, supervisors, and senior management in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverables
• Understanding RSM US and RSM's line of business service offerings and work as a team in providing an integrated service delivery
• Ensuring professional development through ongoing education
• Participating in a range of projects and open to collaborate and work with multiple teams; demonstrating critical thinking, problem solving, initiative and timely completion of work
• Developing an understanding clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors in Commerce
• Non-qualified: 1 year of relevant experience
