Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Assurance & Risk Specialist to support our global business operations by driving high‑impact outcomes across engineering projects. In this role, you will foster a culture of learning and intelligent risk management, while partnering closely with cross‑regional engineering teams at Worley to unlock opportunities for growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and mentor the WES Assessments team in conducting Engineering Critical Controls Assessments and other technical evaluations.
- Lead virtual assessments/audits in collaboration with regional and global engineering delivery teams.
- Prepare and manage essential documentation including Terms of Reference (ToR), Assessment Workplans, Assessment Reports, and data analysis and insights.
- Facilitate virtual workshops and webinars focused on building capabilities in risk management, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
- Actively contribute to quality initiatives such as Quality Week, supporting the delivery of sessions and engagement events.
- Develop and coordinate the assurance regional assessment plan, working closely with operations assurance teams.
- Provide expert guidance on the application of human performance principles and risk‑based assurance strategies within engineering operations.
- Support incident investigations, risk analysis, and lessons‑learned workshops to enhance organizational learning.
- Operate as a trusted advisor to the operations assurance group, delivering high‑quality outputs with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications & Competencies
- Technical & Industry Knowledge – Sound understanding of Engineering Design, Project Management, and EPCM/EPC project delivery.
- Familiarity with QHSE frameworks.
- Proven experience in industries such as Oil & Gas, New Energy, Renewables, and Sustainability.
- Certifications: ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification – Mandatory.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (any stream); MBA preferred but not mandatory.
- IT & Analytical Tools – Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and Mural.

Benefits / Compensation
