Job summary

Air Liquide in Delhi invites a senior proposal engineer to coordinate proposal activities during bidding, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery and a smooth handover to project execution.

You will lead technical elaboration and reviews, organize reviews per Development Procedures, and supervise junior proposal engineers to achieve excellence.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 8–12 years of experience in engineering, design, project management, finance and procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering required.
• 8–12 years experience in related fields (engineering, design, project management, finance and procurement).
• Strong coordination and leadership skills with EPC project exposure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate proposal activities during bidding.
• Initiate and follow technical proposal elaboration/review.
• Prepare reviews (A/B/PRI, etc.) per Development Procedures.
• Handover proposal to project execution team.
• Elaborate and review technical appendix.
• Supervise and guide proposal engineers.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Perform the proper technical elaborations/reviews and ensure proper coordination of the proposal activities during the proposal phase in order to deliver a Proposal on time and quality.

Main Accountabilities

1. Coordinate proposal activities during the proposal bidding preparation
2. Initiate and follow the technical proposal elaboration/review
3. Initiate and prepare different reviews as per project Development Procedures (A meeting, B meeting, PRI, …) in a timely manner
4. Handover Proposal to Project execution team
5. Elaborate and review technical appendix
6. Supervise and guide proposal engineers

Team Management: supervising 1 or 2 junior people
Decision Making / Activity:

• Level of Autonomy: optimize capitalization, propose improvement solutions
• Projects scope & complexity: execution of full scope Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC)
• Can make decisions in his area for responsibility
• Professional expert in field of activity
• Is the referent for more junior colleagues
