Job summary

Unilever is seeking an Asst. Project Manager for APDM in engineering.

The role involves driving project scope with factory teams, overseeing safety during execution, and coordinating with contractors and vendors to deliver commissioning of equipment and related facilities. The ideal candidate holds a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical with 3–5 years in supply chain, project execution or engineering, and is willing to travel across sites within the Unilever network.

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging machines and automated warehouses/ASRS desirable.
• Willing to travel across sites.
• Strong safety and commissioning knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own project scope study with factory team to understand needs and execute per project network.
• Provide technical support to factories and manage stakeholders.
• Experience in contractor management and site workforce management.
• Prepare and present complex technical data using MS Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
• Travel across HUL and associated contract manufacturing sites.

Job Description – APDM -Unilever Engineering

• Working knowledge on construction safety, Commissioning of Equipments & monitoring and controlling leading & lagging indicators of safety.
• Driving Safety in execution on day to day activities. PTW, MOS, THA, SAM, HI etc.
• To conduct in-detailed Project scope study with Factory team to understand their Project needs to execute as per Project Network
• Experience in Packaging machines and Automated Ware Houses , ASRS is desirable
• Experience in Commissioning of Equipment’s, Tanks, Vessels, Machineries, Piping , Steel structures
• To take complete ownership of the project and keep the track of the application project blueprint, responsible for efficient project management.
• Provide technical support to Factories and manage stake holders.
• Knowledge & Hands on experience on Project Management and Contractor Management (Mechanical)
• Experience on Vendor Management, BOM preparation, Installation and Commissioning at Site and Troubleshooting.
• Must know Basic Problem Solving Techniques like Fish Bone Diagram, Why Why Analysis and other Objective Analytical Tools.
• Ability to prepare & present complex technical data in insightful, succinct & professional manner using tools like MS-Excel, MS-power Point and Power-BI.
• Strong interpersonal communication and ability interface between factory team and Vendors/suppliers ensure the proper requirements are understand and being met.
• Experience of working with Agile methodologies with diverse teams.
• Experience in Contractor Management and work force management at site is mandatory
• Willing to travel across HUL and Associated Contract Manufacturing Sites
