Job summary

Carrier is seeking an Asst. Manager/ Application Engineering in Gurugram for a full-time role.

You will leverage HVAC expertise to understand airside products including Fan wall units, AHUs and CRAH, and engage with sales and production teams to design effective solutions. With 5–8 years of relevant experience, you will review requirements, perform thermal and airflow analyses, prepare technical proposals, and ensure documentation complies with industry standards such as Eurovent and AHRI.

Qualifications

• Understand HVAC and airside products such as Fan wall units / AHU / CRAH.
• Proficient in psychometrics, heat load analysis, AutoCAD, and AHU selection tools.
• Knowledge of Data Centre airside products requirements and applicable standards.
• Knowledge of Eurovent and AHRI certification.
• Conduct thermal load calculations, airflow analysis, and capacity assessments.
• Maintain detailed design documentation, including as-built drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Serve as technical advisor translating business requirements into feasible designs.

• Equipment Selection: Carry out equipment selections in time bound manner based on customer provided information.
• Technical Proposals: Review customer blueprints, tenders, and BOQ to prepare accurate technical proposals.
• Cross-Functional Support: Help sales teams answer client questions and coordinate with production or factory teams on custom builds.
• Compliance & Documentation: Generate data sheets, compliance statements, and material submittals matching industry codes
