Job summary

Carrier is recruiting for an Asst. Manager/ Application Engineering in Gurugram. The role requires 5-8 years of experience in HVAC and expertise with airside products such as Fan wall units, Air Handling Units, and CRAH.

You will carry out equipment selections, prepare technical proposals, support sales and coordinate with production for custom builds, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and documentation requirements.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of HVAC experience in airside products.
• Proficient in psychometrics, heat load analysis, AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Eurovent and AHRI certification.
• Ability to prepare technical proposals from blueprints and BOQ.

About the role

5 - 8 years of experience understan[d] HVAC and good knowledge on Airside products like Fan wall units / Air Handling Units / CRAH etc

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Equipment Selection: Carry out equipment selections in time bound manner based on customer provided information.

• Technical Proposals: Review customer blueprints, tenders, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to prepare accurate technical proposals.

• Cross‑Functional Support: Help sales teams answer client questions and coordinate with production or factory teams on custom builds.

• Compliance & Documentation: Generate data sheets, compliance statements, and material submittals matching industry codes

Requirements

• Understand HVAC and good knowledge on Airside products like Fan wall units / Air Handling Units / CRAH etc.

• Proficiency in psychometrics, heat load analysis, AutoCAD, and AHU selection tools.

• Basic understanding on the Data Centre airside products requirements and applicable standards.

• Knowledge about Eurovent and AHRI certification

• Conduct thermal load calculations, airflow analysis, and capacity assessments to optimize mechanical system performance.

• Maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications, as‑built drawings, and maintenance manuals.

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for clients, translating business requirements into feasible designs.
