Job Summary

Amazon Fulfillment Services is seeking an IT Manager to oversee the execution and enhancement of key service delivery processes. The role involves ensuring appropriate metrics and KPIs are established. This organization of IT professionals installs and maintains technical infrastructure used by thousands of Amazon associates in Fulfillment Centers across India.

This rapidly growing team is expanding its Indian Fulfillment Center network. The IT Manager will provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to a diverse team of managers and engineers. The role requires travel to multiple FCs to engage with team members, understand business operations firsthand, and build relationships with General Managers and senior operations leaders. The manager will also manage large, cross-functional projects and collaborate with software developers, executives, vendors, and support teams.

Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence by creating processes, procedures, and automation to improve efficiency. Support internal customers and address their needs and issues.
  • Performance Management and Team Development: Oversee performance and career management for the team. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, provide mentorship in technical and soft skills, and coordinate training sessions. Manage project quality, team scheduling, and day-to-day operations.

  • 10+ years’ experience managing managers
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 60%
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent Amazon experience
  • Previous experience in IT Infrastructure Operations, IT Service Management, or IT Business Operations
