Job summary

Techolution LLC is seeking a UI Developer Intern / Associate UI Developer to join our remote India team. The role focuses on building MERN-based frontend applications with performance and usability in mind, translating Figma designs into responsive interfaces, and collaborating across UI/UX and backend teams.

You will work with React Query, Cypress, and a microfrontend architecture to deliver data-driven dashboards and robust UI components in a fast-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain frontend applications with a focus on performance, usability, and scalability.
• Work with React Query for efficient server-state management, API integration, caching, and data synchronization.
• Develop dashboards involving charts, tables, filters, and data visualizations.
• Contribute to applications built using Microfrontend Architecture and understand the fundamentals of modular frontend development.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate Figma designs into functional and responsive interfaces.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following frontend development best practices.
• Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively within a development team.
• Write and maintain frontend tests using testing libraries such as Cypress.
• Debug UI issues, troubleshoot frontend defects, and contribute to improving application performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless end-to-end functionality.

Foundational Skills

• HTML & CSS / Tailwind CSS: Strong understanding of semantic HTML, responsive layouts, CSS fundamentals, and Tailwind CSS for building clean, reusable, and responsive UI components.
• React.js & React Query: Hands-on experience building reusable React components, managing component state, handling props and hooks, and integrating APIs using React Query for server-state management, caching, and data synchronization.
• TypeScript: Working knowledge of TypeScript, including interfaces, types, generics, and applying type safety while developing React applications.
• Dashboard Development: Experience building data-driven dashboards with interactive charts, tables, filters, pagination, and sorting, with a focus on presenting complex information in a clear and user-friendly manner.
• Microfrontend Architecture: Understanding of microfrontend concepts and how frontend applications can be broken into independently developed and deployable modules.
• Git: Strong understanding of Git for version control, including branching, merging, pull requests, resolving conflicts, and collaborating effectively within a development team.
• Figma: Ability to interpret Figma designs, understand layouts, spacing, typography, and component specifications, and accurately translate designs into responsive, production-ready UI.

Advanced Skills

• Cypress / Frontend Testing: Experience writing and maintaining end-to-end or component-level tests using Cypress, with an understanding of test scenarios, assertions
