Job summary

Merkle in Mumbai is seeking a Lead Developer/Engineer to design, develop, and support large-scale backend projects with strong Node.js experience. The role demands 8–12 years of backend development, RESTful API proficiency, and solid database skills in SQL/NoSQL.

You will work in an Agile/Scrum setup and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend work with Vue.js. The candidate should have a good grasp of system architecture, CI/CD, Git, and cloud concepts.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of professional software development experience, with a backend focus.
• Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js and Perl.
• RESTful API development and integration experience.
• Database expertise in SQL and/or NoSQL.
• Understanding of system architecture and design principles.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug Node.js backend applications.
