Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in India (Gurugram) is seeking a tax professional to join our Tax team. You will prepare federal, state and international individual, partnership, and C corporation returns, and supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will gather data from clients, perform tax research, assist in planning projects, participate in client calls, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver timely, high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Prepare federal, state, and international tax returns and schedules.
• Analyze tax-related financial data from clients.
• Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations.
• Assist in research and analysis of a wide variety of tax issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, State and international individual, partnership, and C Corporation income tax returns and supporting schedules
• Gather data from clients and analyse tax-related financial information
• Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations
• Assist in research and analysis of a wide variety of tax issues
• Participate in potential tax-planning and consulting projects for clients
• Attend client calls to understand critical areas of importance and apply tax technical knowledge to specific client situations
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and clearly communicate work plan, project objectives, and timelines
• Build internal relationships with other members of the Tax team
• Performing extensive editing, transfers, write-offs and adjustments
• Working closely with cross firm professionals to resolve any issues and ensuring bills are accurate and complete
