Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Software Developer to join our team. You will build, test, and maintain scalable software applications, bridging foundational engineering practices with modern design, database integration, and CI/CD workflows.

The candidate should have 0–3 years of software engineering experience, a relevant degree, and hands-on coding in C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, and SQL. Experience with AWS, Aras Innovator, and RESTful APIs is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 0 to 3 years of professional software engineering experience, progressing to mid-level execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications and RESTful APIs using C#/.NET Core and NodeJS.
• Build and enhance frontend interfaces with Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Design and optimize SQL queries and database schemas (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
• Assist in configuring Aras Innovator PLM platform and writing custom C# methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features and resolve defects.

Airbus is looking for a Software Developer to join in Bangalore, India. You will play a critical role in building, testing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance software applications. You will be a hands-on contributor to our core products, bridging foundational software engineering practices with modern application design, database integration, and continuous integration workflows. This position requires a versatile, fast-learning engineer capable of writing clean and efficient code, collaborating across cross-functional teams, resolving technical bottlenecks, and rapidly adapting to modern development tools and emerging technologies.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 0 to 3 years of professional software engineering experience, demonstrating progression into mid-level execution and autonomous problem-solving.

Required Technical Skills

1. Backend & Integration Technologies Deep hands-on experience building enterprise-grade backend services with .NET Core, NodeJS. Strong scripting and core programming capabilities in C#. Expertise in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and scalable, event-driven network connections using WebSockets.
2. Frontend Web Frameworks Solid production experience with modern frontend components, specifically Angular. Strong command of type-safe asynchronous programming using TypeScript and JavaScript.
3. Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Proven experience with core AWS Infrastructure services: EC2, Elastic Load Balancers (ALB) and secure cloud networking practices. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code. Familiarity with standard Git workflows (branching strategies, PR reviews, CI/CD pipelines).
4. Data Management Strong proficiency in relational database management systems (SQL), schema design and query optimization. Familiarity with MSSQL, Oracle and MySQL databases.
5. Aras PLM Exposure to or foundational training in the Aras Innovator platform, including basic system configuration, item type management, or C#-based method customization.

Good to have skills:

Knowledge of Airbus Organization would be a plus. Experienced in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders transnationally. Excellent and adaptive communication capabilities with diverse audiences. Showing capabilities for improving agility, Entrepreneurship, innovative spirit. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core.
• Write clean, scalable code and basic unit tests under the guidance of senior developers.
• Build, test, and enhance dynamic frontend user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Design, write, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and schema layouts for databases like MSSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Support the configuration, customization, and maintenance of the Aras Innovator PLM platform, including writing custom C# methods and configuring ItemTypes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and bugs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and integrate features.

Soft skills:

Good communication & Advanced level of English, Active listening. Quick learner who can learn a new technology/skill/application. Knowledge on Waterfall / Agile/ SAFe project methodologies and Versionone/JIRA/Gsuite is a must. Knowledge of Sustainable IT will be an added advantage. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
