Job summary

Denodo's IT team manages the corporate IT infrastructure, assets, and global user applications for our business and developer teams. As an Associate SysSecOps Administrator, you will apply technical expertise to operate and secure these platforms in Hybrid Cloud environments.

You will perform OS and network administration, automate routine tasks, assist both non-technical end users and developers, and participate in on-call duties to ensure SLAs are met across our global services.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Windows and Linux servers with network fundamentals.
• Scripting or programming skills for automation (e.g., Python, Shell).
• Knowledge of security best practices and data privacy basics.
• Ability to work in a global IT support and on-call context.

Responsibilities

• Implement solutions to improve availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of applications in Hybrid Cloud environments.
• Perform operating system and network administration.
• Automate common tasks to streamline support workflows.
• Assist both non-technical end users and developers/testers.
• Test backup, recovery and restore procedures.
• Maintain inventory of assets, services, software and hardware.
• Document architectures, deployments and installations.
• Monitor and tune running systems to meet SLAs.
• Propose and execute deployment improvements.

As an Associate SysSecOps Administrator you will successfully employ a combination of technical expertise, research and investigative know-how, troubleshooting and problem solving techniques, and communication skills with internal Denodo users and IT providers to achieve your mission.
