Job summary

UPS in India is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to execute Information Services (I.S.) QA processes with moderate guidance and to collaborate with QA teammates, application developers, software vendors, consultants, user communities, and test environment staff in testing procedures.

This role supports testing efforts of small to medium complexity and requires knowledge of the key processes and technology within the supported business functions.

Responsibilities

• Execute Information Services (I.S.) Quality Assurance (QA) processes with moderate guidance.
• Identify problems, generate alternatives, and recommend solutions within defined processes.
• Document progress of assigned tasks to ensure objectives are met.
• Collaborate with QA team members, application developers, software vendors, consultants, user communities, and test environment staff in testing procedures.
• Support testing efforts of small to medium complexity.
• Knowledgeable of the key processes and technology within the supported business functions.
