Job summary

Optum is seeking an Infra/Cloud Platform Engineer in Hyderabad to design and implement reusable Terraform modules and GitHub workflows that enable product teams to deploy securely across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will guide cloud-native development, ensure security, and help migrate on-prem solutions to the cloud.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on cloud multi-cloud experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools like Copilot or OpenAI models.
• Expert in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) with multi-cloud experience.
• Expert in developing reusable Terraform modules.
• Expert in creating GitHub Actions and workflows.
• Ability to design cloud-architecture diagrams (cloud-agnostic and cloud-specific).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable Terraform modules meeting Optum security standards.
• Create reusable GitHub Actions and workflows for cloud deployments across platforms.
• Develop Architecture diagrams for cloud services following best practices and frameworks.
• Manage Azure, AWS, and GCP accounts, monitor security and vulnerabilities, address issues.
• Provide guidance to product teams to develop cloud-native solutions per Optum standards.
• Assist in migrating solutions from on-prem to cloud platforms.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of all deliverables.

Dojo360 is dedicated to developing reusable Terraform modules and GitHub workflows, setting the standard for infrastructure setup at Optum. We drive best practices and standards for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ensuring adherence to Optum's security protocols and guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable terraform modules that meets Optum security standards
• Design and develop re-usable GitHub actions and workflows that enable product teams to deploy their application to cloud platforms in an efficient, safe and secure manner meeting Optum security standards
• Develop Architecture diagrams for specific cloud service that follows all the industry as well as Optum best practices and incorporates well architected Framework principals
• Manage Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud accounts monitor them for security and vulnerabilities and address any issues promptly
• Provide guidance to product teams to develop cloud native solutions as per Optum standards
• Provide guidance to users to migrate their solutions from on-prem to cloud platforms
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of all deliverables

Required Qualifications

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience
• Good hands-on experience in using AI tools like copilot, Open AI models etc.
• Expert cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP - Working experience in 2/3 cloud platforms
• Expert in developing reusable terraform modules - Working experience with terraform modules
• Expert in developing Github actions and workflows
• Expert in developing architecture diagrams for cloud services - both cloud agnostic as well as cloud specific
• Proven solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with additional cloud platforms and web development tools
• Knowledge of the latest trends and advancements in cloud, terraform, deployment, AI tools
