Job summary

QAD in Pune, India is seeking a software engineer to develop and maintain software applications as part of a collaborative engineering team. You will work with Java-based systems, build scalable RESTful APIs and web services, and write frontend code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

You will also interact with MariaDB and PostgreSQL databases and contribute to code reviews and quality standards. Your role involves debugging, testing, and solving problems across the full stack while staying

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong command of Java including object-oriented principles, design patterns, and framework ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, JUnit, Maven, Ant, or similar Java tooling.
• Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for building user-facing features.
• Knowledge of RESTful architecture and API development principles.
• Demonstrated ability with SQL and relational database systems such as MariaDB and PostgreSQL.
• Proven debugging and problem-solving skills when facing complex technical challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a team environment.
• Genuine interest in continuous learning and keeping pace with evolving technology trends.
