Job summary

SLB in India seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to work across multiple ECC 6.0 modules (MM, FI, CO, WM, SD, PP, HR) and related technologies. You will design technical solutions, translate functional specs into technical designs, and deliver robust, cloud-ready enhancements.

The role requires strong ABAP craftsmanship, IDoc handling, BRF+ optimization, and collaboration with global teams. Candidates should have 5–7 years in SAP projects, excellent communication, and the ability to work in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of SAP ABAP implementation experience.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
• Experience implementing SAP solutions using ABAP across ECC 6.0 modules MM, FI, CO, WM, SD, PP, HR and related tools.

Job description

• Experience working with 2 or more modules of ECC 6.0 (MM, FI, CO, WM, SD, PP, HR) and/or , GRC 10.1, GTS10.1, MDG 7.0, SCM 7.0
• Average knowledge in Core ABAP architecture, Reporting, ALE/IDOCs, Object-Oriented programming, Module-pool, SAP script, Smart-Forms, BDC's, ODATA, Enhancement techniques, Performance optimization tools
• Good knowledge in RAP and cloud ready programming.
• Good knowledge in debugging Workflows and restarting WF tasks and other WF related transactions
• Knowledge of Governance and validations
• Knowledge of system landscapes
• Intermediate knowledge in developing BRF+ Rulesets and BRF+ Workflows
• Knowledge with data models of all master data
• Knowledge of Data Quality using validations and enrichments and duplicate search
• Data Replication knowledge using IDoc
• Basic knowledge of all master data transactions
• Proven Analytical Capabilities, must have excellent analytical competencies, demonstrated experience in full life-cycle implementations and demonstrated experience in developing technical options and recommendations.
• Able to translate functional specifications into technical design documents, provide estimates and deliver the desired functionality.
• Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, collaborate with various people and organizations to develop win/win results.
• High level of proficiency and understanding of information technology and the linkage between business processes, people and systems.
