Job summary

Microland Limited is seeking a security operations specialist with hands-on SIEM experience to strengthen threat detection and incident response capabilities.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead intelligence-driven hunting initiatives, perform malware analysis, and serve as the primary technical contact during major incidents, ensuring timely communication and effective resolution.

Certification-rich background and hands-on work with Trellix, Securonix, Chronicle are highly valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring, optimizing, and engineering SIEM platforms to enhance threat detection and response.
• Proficient in proactive threat hunting using intelligence-driven hypotheses and behavior-based analytics.
• Knowledgeable in static and dynamic malware analysis to uncover malicious payloads and attacker techniques.
• Provides mentorship to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers, and leads post-incident analysis and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact during major incidents and escalations, ensuring timely communication and effective resolution.
• Foster knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices across delivery teams.
• Develop and tune SIEM detection content to improve incident response effectiveness.
• Lead threat hunting initiatives and drive intelligence-driven investigations across SIEM platforms.

Knowledgeable in proactive threat hunting initiatives using intelligence-driven hypotheses and behavior-based analytics across SIEM platforms.

Aware in performing static and dynamic malware analysis to uncover malicious payloads, persistence mechanisms, and attacker techniques.

Aware in threat intelligence with SIEM and hunting activities to enhance situational awareness and accelerate incident response.

Provides mentorship and guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers, fostering skill development through continuous knowledge sharing, structured handovers, and adoption of best practices. Acts as the primary technical contact during major incidents and escalations, ensuring timely communication, effective resolution, and comprehensive post-incident analysis. Promotes a collaborative and positive team culture by proactively resolving conflicts and strengthening cohesive relationships across delivery teams.
