Job summary

Microland in Bengaluru seeks a qualified Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor, detect and respond to security incidents across endpoints and networks. You will implement policies, tune alerts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize risk.

You will document findings, assist in containment and remediation, review access requests, and escalate complex events as required. Relevant experience in SIEM, threat intel, IAM concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the implementation and adherence to organizational security policies and controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of security-related issues.
• Documents and communicates threat findings with relevant context and recommendations while supporting proactive threat monitoring and escalating identified risks to senior analysts.
• Creates and updates incident tickets with detailed findings, logs, and analysis while assisting in tuning alerts, validating use cases, and improving monitoring efficiency.
• Supports containment and remediation activities based on predefined response procedures while documenting investigation findings and escalating complex endpoint incidents with detailed analysis.
• Reviews user access requests, validates compliance with organizational policies, and identifies access anomalies, unauthorized activities, or segregation-of-duty conflicts during access reviews.
