Qualifications

  • Finance or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, IT or related field.
  • 4+ years in an Accounts Payable role within a large organization.
  • Experience with AP functionality of ERP systems; SAP and Oracle Fusion knowledge is encouraged.
  • Strong Excel skills for data manipulation and presentation.
  • Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.
  • Understanding of accounting concepts and strict deadlines.
  • Project management skills with ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end Procure to Pay processes and ensure timely AP processing.
  • Process invoices for global entities within defined TAT.
  • Resolve queries and escalations quickly.
  • Collaborate with requestors to clear aged invoices/GRNs.
  • Maintain SOPs and strengthen controls across Oracle/SAP.
  • Liaise with vendors to resolve past-due issues.
  • Assist month-end accruals and close activities.
  • Support process improvements and ERP implementation projects.
  • Translate manual processes into detailed workflows for automation.

Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Possess strong knowledge on E2E Procure to Pay processes and work across all levels of AP Process with clear understanding upstream/downstream dependencies.
  • Responsible for the processing of invoices for all entities globally within the defined TAT.
  • Able to manage and resolve queries/escalations swiftly and proactively.
  • Collaborate with business requestors across LSEG for clearance and resolution of aged invoices pending approvals/ GRNs.
  • Upkeep of all relevant documentation -SoP and performing all vital due diligence to build and strengthen operational controls/process standardization across both ERP (Oracle/SAP).
  • Work with external 3rd party vendors to resolve past due issues and provide update on pending invoices/payments.
  • Assist the Accounting team at month-end with the accrual process and other month-end close activities.
  • Be able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Participate in process improvement CI/DI projects including implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with broader finance operations team as well as tech resources to translate manual processes into detailed workflows as part of organization automation initiatives.
Expectation
  • Finance or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, IT or related field.
  • 4+ years working within an Accounts Payable team, with a proven track record in Accounts payable and accounts receivable teams in a large organization.
  • Experience with AP functionality of ERP systems; SAP & Oracle Cloud Fusion knowledge is encouraged.
  • Understanding of accounting concepts and principles and reporting to tight deadlines.
  • Sophisticated Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and present financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Working understanding on automations that helps to develop the operational hindrances to improve the process.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages. Specially in Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in oral & written English, ability to articulate and develop ideas to respond clearly and concisely to various audiences who are internal and external.
  • Strong project management skills with proven track record to meet targets, deliver results and balance multiple tasks without compromising on quality.
  • Strive to continuously improve, build and re-engineer processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a sense of ownership.
