Job summary

Greater Giving, Inc. is seeking an Associate Senior Client Server Software Analyst to design, code, debug, maintain and implement applications.

You will analyze existing systems, translate business needs into specifications, and develop test plans while collaborating with on-site users. You’ll work on client-server solutions using .NET and C++, perform unit tests, ensure PCI security considerations, and contribute to documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Relevant Experience or Degree in: Degree in a related field and/or the equivalent in training and experience.
• Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp.
• System design and development in a client server environment.

Responsibilities

• Engages in dialogue with business and technology teams to develop basic code for internal and external client software solutions.
• Performs corrective measures for basic code deficiencies and escalates alternative proposals.
• Demonstrates ability to analyze, modify and develop basic code/unit testing to develop concise application documentation.
• Applies basic understanding of PCI security compliance in procedures and development.

Job description

Associate Senior Client Server Software Analyst

Creates, codes, debugs, maintains and implements applications. Analyzes existing applications or formulates logic for new applications, devises logic procedures, performs coding and debugs programs. Maintains and utilizes application and programming documents in the development of code. Develops application implementation plans throughout the life cycle. Works closely with onsite end users to understand business needs, writes specifications, performs system and data analysis, implements and modifies systems and creates detailed test plans, as well as providing testing, troubleshooting and support across systems.

What you’ll own

• Engages in dialogue with business and technology teams to develop basic code for internal and external client software solutions. Designs, creates and delivers routine program specifications for code development and support on multiple projects/issues and demonstrates an understanding of the application and/or area as it relates to assigned projects and how the functional area interacts with other functional areas.
• Performs corrective measures for basic code deficiencies and escalates alternative proposals.
• Demonstrates ability to analyze, modify and develop basic code/unit testing in order to develop concise application documentation. Performs testing and validation requirements for basic code changes. Applies basic understanding of procedures, methodologies, and application standards to include Payment Card Industry (PCI) security compliance.
