Role Overview

As part of the M&A tax team, you will advise businesses across various industries on tax and regulatory aspects of planning, structuring, and executing transactions of diverse nature and magnitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluating M&A transactions from tax/regulatory/commercial perspectives, identifying risks or benefits, and suggesting alternatives.
  • Evaluating restructuring possibilities, efficiencies, and advising on succession planning, wealth transition, and family settlements.
  • Conducting detailed fiscal and regulatory reviews of proposed transactions, including implications of income tax, international tax, FEMA, SEBI, Companies Act, competition law, stamp duty, Ind AS, etc.
  • Highlighting issues and presenting solutions.
  • Drafting reports, proposals, opinions, and presentations.
  • Reviewing transaction documents from tax and regulatory perspectives.
  • Performing financial and industry analysis to assess tax and other consequences.
