Position Overview:

The Associate/ Sr. Associate Content Writer will develop high-quality content for social media, blogs, reports, and event coverage, while conducting research as required. This role suits creative self-starters with proven writing experience, keen research skills, and the ability to adapt content for varying platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and edit engaging, high-quality content across platforms—social media, website, newsletters, blogs, and organizational communications.
• Edit and structure long-form reports, policy briefs, and research publications for clarity, accessibility, and impact.
• Collaborate with research, marketing, events, and design teams to ensure content consistency across projects.
• Develop and maintain content calendars to ensure timely dissemination of organizational priorities and campaigns.
• Research and draft thought leadership pieces, op-eds, and blog articles aligned with CEED’s thematic focus.
• Optimize web and digital content for SEO and enhanced online visibility.
• Proofread and review content for accuracy, flow, and adherence to CEED’s style and tone.
• Assist in writing event reports, summaries, and key outcomes for stakeholders and external communication.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Policy, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of professional writing and editing experience (policy, research, or social sector experience preferred).
• Strong grasp of both long-form (reports, research, op-eds) and short-form (social, web, newsletters) content.
• Exceptional editing and proofreading skills with an eye for detail and narrative flow.
• Ability to distill complex research into accessible, compelling content.
• Familiarity with SEO, digital media trends, and content management systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Salary is negotiable and at par with the industry.
